Great place to purchase and hit the range. I’ve bought 4 pistols (and a transfer) from there to date and every transaction has been next to effortless. Kevin has been a great salesman and knowledgeable of all things related to firearms. Valerie overlooks the range with superior control and upmost safety utilizing her unprecedented knowledge. During these times, the glasses and ear wear need to be sanitized constantly and thoroughly , and she’s always attending to those needs willingly with a beautiful smile. The atmosphere is really changing in the store and I encourage the owners to continue on their path. Go Fred’s!!

Made a huge mistake giving Freds my business. The mistake of FFL’ing some guns here. Freds charges Triple to Six times average FFL transfer costs. I honestly called several places and didn’t think to ask Freds........ absolutely absurd and i will never purchase a gun or transfer a gun here again. If a place sees fit to so egregiously price gouge for an exceptionally basic service they aren’t worth doing business with. To enhance the bad experience I transferred two firearms on the same form and got charged the transfer cost twice. Yes there are two firearms but they are on the same form and with such a huge mark up to pay that twice for a single couple lines on the same form it starts to look like they are on board with pricing citizens out of gun ownership. The range is exceptionally nice but i should have done my homework that their transfer cost is 60 per item, i have paid 20 elsewhere in the state but more often than not it is around 10. I am counting the days till I get to leave this awful state, and experiences like this are why I am so excited to leave. I paid 80-100 dollars above their competition for roughly 30-45 minutes total of service. Realistically i paid 120 dollars for less than an hour of a staff members time to fill out the paper work and they check the serial numbers.

Wife and i went to Fred's today for the first time. We were greeted by Valerie at the service desk who was polite and professional. Valerie set us up with two lanes and we were on our way. The firearms instructor Alek was very down to earth. He assisted me with adjusting my sights and assured our safety. We will be back!! :)
