Beautiful course with mountain views on almost every hole. One of the most challenging courses I have ever played. There are so many deer all over the course!
After reading the reviews and seeing the price, I was a little hesitant. But decided to give it a go. Let me say, the reviews are not accurate (at least for my first experience). Had a group of 8. Booked online seamlessly. Staff was friendly. We never felt rushed (let a single play through), had no interactions with the ranger, and the course was great for only 35. Course was great for 75 (what is would have cost in CHS, SC). Greens were true and fairways were well kept. It is challenging and if its your first time, it's worth getting a yardage book or downloading a GPS app (I use 18birdies). A lot of \unique\ shots off the tee. Enjoy!
Snuggled in the north Georgia mountains, lake Arrowhead golf course is a hidden gem. No lake views or anything like that. The course meanders through a mountain valley with homes dotted between. Each hole seems pretty isolated, and the cart paths travel through woods from hole to hole. Fairways were in great shape, and the greens are full of trickery. It's a long course from whites blues and blacks. And if you stay, not very forgiving. The clubhouse is beautiful with rich trappings. The pro shop is super equipped. I love a round here as often as I can. The course can humble the best golfer, but the setting will make it all worth it. Keep a sense of humor. Marc D, Ball Ground.
One of my favorite communities. When you drive past the gate, you are welcomed by a beautiful vista of the N. Georgia mountains. The lake has a marina & clean water. Enjoy golf, tennis, pool & walking trails.
