I recently purchased a Dingwall NG3 from Nick at the Axe Palace and I could not be happier with it. It was about an hour’s drive for me so I made the drive to check out the bass and when I got there, Nick had just sold the one he had 10 minutes before I arrived. Fortunately, the customer was still there and Nick got permission for me to play it which of course was greatly appreciated. A week or so later another shipment arrived and I took another ride out and bought one. While testing it out there was a little buzzing which the guitar tech fixed immediately even though he was working on another guitar. Bottom line, great bass, great price and outstanding service. I would highly recommend The Axe Palace. Thanks Nick and your staff.

shopping with AP, they make you feel like a millionaire that just walked in to buy a Lambo. with the quality of service, excellent quality control, insane transparency for customers, and valuable insight on purchases that are in the players best interests, not the store's.... Axe Palace feels more like a multi-brand custom shop than a music store. Have spent close to 6k with them over the past year, and am looking forward to spending even more when the time comes for a custom Mayones. But unlike dealing with custom shops that can close without warning and lose your money, every dollar is a safe and secure dollar at AP. I've also never met salesmen quite as knowledgeable as the AP team, while staying humble and personable. The only thing stopping me from spending more here is my budget
I chose this place to put some Bare Knuckle pickups in my guitar. When the pickups came, Bare Knuckle had sent gloss instead of matte finish. I didn't catch his name, but the guitar tech was able to sand them down by hand to remove the gloss, and the final product looked incredible. Also when I arrived, I had mistakenly thought it would be a same day affair, and I didn't realize there was a queue. But no worries, they were able to squeeze me in that day and I got my guitar back in an hour and a half, instead of 1-2 weeks. Since it was my only guitar, I was so very thankful for that. I also feel that I was undercharged for what I asked for (pick up install, volume knob switch, matte finish, same day return). I'm pretty sure they threw on a set of strings for free too. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I'll be bringing my guitars here from now on. Awesome, awesome place.
Best guitar shop I've ever been to. Don't come here looking for Fenders or Gibsons, that's what Guitar Center is for. Instead you'll find high end brands from ESP to PRS. Also if you aren't looking to spend at least 1000 on a guitar, this isn't the shop for you.
My hat is off to The Axe Palace! Today something beautiful arrived...my ESP E-II FR-7 Custom in Trans Purple loaded with Titan pickups! Nick was a pleasure to deal with and put one of these aside for me. The guitar came absolutely flawless and the setup by his tech was nothing short of perfection! Action is extremely low, intonation is perfect and I want to give a special thanks to Nick's tech! I read the reviews and Nick delivers nothing but perfection and I will be keeping my eye on custom runs. There are only 10 of these so hurry and get one for you if there are any left!!
