Amazing Service. Josh and Steve are completely trustworthy, amazingly efficient and devoted. I am so thankful for their service. They also were very friendly towards my service dog.

When I first starting looking for a forwarding service to use while living abroad, I considered a UPS store in downtown Seattle. Happily, I found Wanderers, which aside from being an historic and independent business, is cheaper and provides more personal and knowledgeable service. They are flexible, pragmatic, communicative, creative and helpful in solving mail-relay challenges. Recommended.

After a week-long cruise to Alaska, my wife and I had too many souvenirs to take home. Our options were buy another suitcase and have another checked bag, or ship them home. We elected to ship the items home. Having managed a FedEx Office, I learned the "proper" way to pack items based on fragility and the like. Luckily we didn't have much that was very fragile, but I packed up our items into multiple handheld bags with fragile items pre-wrapped. I would have been happy if Josh has just put our bags into a box, added some paper filler and been done. But instead Josh went out of his way to ensure every item was protected. Even the rather large box everything arrived in was practically laminated in tape to prevent it from getting wet. Inside were individually wrapped bundles of items wrapped in bubble wrap and/or paper, and some items were even boxed for additional protection. It was the most comprehensive shipping I've ever seen. You would think we were shipping back priceless relics they were so well packed. I don't like that they use styrofoam packing peanuts. I wish they used a biodegradable version or jumbled paper instead, but that is my only complaint. I will absolutely ship from here on future visits to Seattle and/or Alaska.

We were recently in Seattle and made several purchases at the Pikes Place Market and did not want to lug them around on our cruise. We wanted to ship them home and found Wanderers Mail Service located in the market. We walked in with our packages and the process was completed within in minutes. We shipped the package back home via FedEx (the cheapest option for our size and weight) and the package arrived a day earlier than initially predicated (even with a holiday). While were out of town still, this was an excellent surprise. When we opened our box, we learned that the store representative had securely packed the items with Styrofoam surrounding them to keep them stable during shipment and protected our items even more than we had expected. Our items (all fragile) arrived safe and sound. While, we were just visiting, I have still added Wanderers to my address book in case we are in town in the future and need to ship items home. I have also recommended them to several friends that I know in the Seattle area. I highly recommend Wanderers and would go out of my way to use them again in the future. Unfortunately, I did not the name of the employee that we worked with, but our service occurred on 08/30/2018 at 2:15 PM. Thanks for the great service!

I used this service for a year as I traveled around the world. They (Steve) did everything they said they and then MORE. Great service at a very fair price. Twice during the year I gave instructions to trash pieces of mail, only to receive an email from Steve asking if I really wanted to destroy a check and an envelope that likely contained health insurance benefits cards. Both times Steve was right and saved me. You could not expect a service to be this thoughtful and to take unexpected initiative, but they just acted in my best interest. I would recommend Wanderer's to anyone needing a service to handle incoming mail.

We handmake leather belts and strops. We moved our business to Alaska and had to use a mail service for our leather. Joshua at Wanderers' Mail Service is who we chose. He was extremely helpful in getting our leather moved from CA to Alaska. The price was more than reasonable. We received are packages very quickly. Highly Recommend.

We just started using Wanderer's and wow what a horrible experience it has been thus far. The employee who works Saturday and Friday, at least today, is highly dismissive and unhelpful. I recommend against using Wanderer's for any type of service. Wanderer's has damaged 1/3 of the mail they have handled for us. Additionally, they have lost articles of mail and subsequently say sorry can't find it, move along, get out of the store. If I could give these guys zero stars I would. They'll insist none of this is their fault, but it is and they adamantly refuse to address the problems in their company causing this. Attached is evidence of Wanderer's disregard for mail. I should note we used another service for close to a decade with no issues. We had to switch to Wanderer's to maintain a local address. Sadly, we're on the hunt for another mail service who doesn't suck.
