Matthew and I got married on November 21st. We originally had an indoor wedding booked but obviously with the pandemic, this was not feasible. I contacted Linda at The Sherwood Chalet/Forest Lodge and Matthew and I went to see her that weekend. They even had us do the food tasting while waiting for our other venue to release us from our contract. We loved it and moved forward with idea of having our wedding 100% outside in late November. (We were nervous for that AND there being a pandemic) Linda worked with us to come up with a menu to almost match our original menu, she talked me off a ledge every time I was nervous about the pandemic, she'd text and call me to make sure I was relaxed. She made sure that we had enough heaters, because we had no clue how many to get. Our wedding day was PERFECT. (And everyone was warm!) You would've never known we had moved our wedding only months before. Linda and Anthony helped to make our vision a reality. Linda even got us copper mugs to drink our signature drink. You will feel like they care about you as family. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!

I cannot day enough about this venue. Due to Covid I didn’t think I would be able to have a bridal shower for my daughter. Well I found Forest Lodge and the day was wonderful. Anthony was so accommodating and Linda and the staff were just incredible! They were so attentive and caring that even my guests commented on how pleasant and friendly they were. And of course can’t finish without saying the food was delicious and plentiful as well. 5 stars
I just had my celebration here, and I was completely blown away. Aside from them working with me tirelessly (covid bride), they put on a truly awesome experience. I was never once in need during the party. They made me feel so at home, and it truly added something special to my night. Every single staff member was nothing short of amazing. This will definitely be my \go-to\ for the future.
After Covid threw a wrench in our destination wedding, we were fortunate enough to find Forest Lodge. We had our wedding this past weekend outdoors at their Sherwood Chalet. Linda & Anthony helped pull together the most amazing wedding in just one month. The space itself is gorgeous, and they allowed us to customize it however we wanted, keeping it intimate and fun. The food & drinks were delicious. Linda, thank you so much for going above and beyond to accommodate us on such short notice, and keeping me calm along the way. Having you there for our wedding was a treat, you went above and beyond. Anthony, you made our wedding such incredible by reading our minds all night long, making sure we were never in need of anything, and going the extra mile to accommodate our nephews and niece. The whole family loves Anthony!! You kept the night flowing perfectly without me having to think about a thing.
The food was amazing, they had vegan food and meat lovers food and everything in between including local and foreign ipas beers and several types of wine. We came for a employees and families yearly event this was our first time at Forest Lodge NJ we been attending since 2007 the best so far 2020, there was a lot of space and alot of activities for the entire family!
