I started treatment at the end of march due to marijuana use..group was 4 nights a week with weekly urine test and also randoms..I attended all group sessions but 2 , which were excused, May 12 I was asked to screen , Friday may 26 I was told I tested positive for opiates .. I was in complete and utter shock , I knew I hadn't done anything since March 17, and then all I did was smoke weed.. I have never experience with opiates, just something I never was intrested in.. after racking my brain over the weekend , and doing some research I was certain it was a poppyseed bagel I ate on the afternoon I was tested...when I returned to group on Monday I was kicked out of class for not admitting to something I didn't do.. to make a long story short I went and got a hair test done out of my own pocket, the results came back and I tested positive for marijuana ONLY! I contacted the treatment center with my results hoping they will do an experiment of their own , to hopefully save another person from going thro what I did or possibly worse , jail time or losing their kid.. it's been over a month and I still have not heard back from them .. you would think instead of kicking someone out of treatment , they would try to \ meet you at your level \ or in my case do some further investigation , do the experiment not kick someone out of treatment .. their supposed to be there to \help \ not make things worse.
