Freed's Biscuit Company! One of the best biscuits and breakfast biscuit sandwiches ever. We came down for a weekend visit from DC and stopped but the Saturday farmers market for breakfast and to pick up supplies for dinner. The line for the biscuits was by far the longest at the market and they kept announcing that things were selling out as we waited. Probably waited 15-20 minutes total and was totally worth it. We might even make the hour drive from DC on a future Saturday just to scoop sandwiches and maybe stop by a vineyard. I got the sausage egg and cheese on an everything biscuit (photo attached) . They also had a gluten free biscuit and we scooped some smaller biscuits to go for breakfast the next day.

Awesome farmers market. This was the first one I have ever been to and now all the other ones don't compare. Great kiosks everywhere with a wide variety of items, including fruits and vegetables, coffee, pickles, and a great variety of breakfast and lunch items.

The Farmer's market is my favorite part of the weekend. I love the fresh produce much better than at the grocery store. If produce is not your thing then they have other vendors too. There's fruit pies and pot pies and shepherd's pie. Mad logic is there with their kombucha and it's 4 for a pint. Wild Hare is also there with hard cider. There's honey from a local apiary farm. A microgreens farm. There location changed in the year 2020 two behind the post office.

Good variety. Some things I believe are over priced. Friendly venders

Love the selection here! There's so much to choose from- fresh eggs, a big variety of vegetables, meats like pork and beef, tea and spices, honey and jams! Theres also some vendors selling soap. I wish I had brought cash with me since the majority of the vendors are cash only, so make sure to bring some with you. Some things also sell out if you're not quick, but you have every Saturday until November to try again. Everyone is really friendly and the Market Manager has a booth there to help you with anything you need. Definitely will be back soon!
