I specifically asked them NOT to use the impact wrench when installing my tires. They agreed and I figured.. no way they will. It's a good thing I was home when I choose to remove the tires. They had used the impact wrench and the lug nuts must have been tightened to over 200 foot lbs! I destroyed a lug nut trying to get one of the tires off. I had to use an 18\ breaker bar AND a 24\ cheater bar just to break them loose. Who knows if there is damage to the lugs. Probably not, but the spec calls for 85-110 foot pounds and these were WAY over that. Won't be going back.
Excellent customer service. Very clean shop with plenty of tables and chairs to spread out. Everyone there is very friendly. Got me in and out with two different vehicles in record time. They have a customer for life.
Warrenton Tire & Auto did great putting on my new tires and realigning them. Didn’t try to upsell any other products or services although did warn me that my brakes are almost nonexistent (which was true). The waiting room was standard for an auto shop. I think I only waited a little over an hour so no complaints here. I appreciate the good job they did and how polite and courteous the staff are.
Ah. Oh. I realized that I needed a VA SAFETY INSPECTION before the end of the month; with less than one week left! I called and it was recommended that I arrive when they open at 7:30 am for first-come first-serve service. I arrived at 7:45 am. I was third in line. It was completed by 8:30 am. EXCELLENT! VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF!
