Whitney State Park offered a beautiful backdrop for a quick walk for a mommy and me session! We had so much fun along the trail and saw so much beauty from the changing seasons.

We enjoyed walking here and exploring some old buildings. Lots of trails, fairly well maintained, but not well marked or mapped in places.

Enjoyed hiking around the perimeter of the forest. First time visiting this hidden gem.

Hiking here is great! A great quick hike for the whole family. We like the dark blue marked parameter trail, which is about two miles and goes through lots of different types of terrain, but there is a trail for everyone. You cross a creek several times. Great in spring, summer, and fall. Some reviews seem to say it's hard to follow, but we've never had that experience. We find it really well maintained. Do tick check when you get home!

Beautiful, and we were lucky to have perfect hiking weather. Trails not very well marked but not too difficult. It was a great family hike!
