25 to climb as much as you want from 10am - 10pm? I think this speaks for itself. Come in, sign a waiver, put on your harness and if it's your first time, get a short tutorial. No gripes from me! I've been here a total of about 10 times since I was around 14 years old. Not nearly enough if you ask me. Although nothing beats the real thing, you can't argue with the convenience.

By far the best place to climb around Chicago. Attached to a Lifetime Fitness, you'll have to walk through and get a stamp (which is beyond pointless) and then you can walk to the climbing area. Only downside is that because the place is really the only place to climb within Chicago, it can get really crowded. Often will be kids parties, so you'll have these kids parked on routes for ages. Not a lot of climbing for beginners - the majority of their routes are 5.10, but this is good as it'll force you to get better fast.
Don't go there if you're a climber. Terrible setting, greasy holds, questionable ropes, bouldering problems set at the base of lead routes, subjective and inconsistent grades. I know spoiled living in Utah... But this is the worst route setting I have every experienced. I would be surprised if the setters ever climbed outside before.
