My daughter in law recommended this place. At first when I looked at the photos online I was hesitant. But no I was wrong. It was awesome a nice getaway from everything, beautiful view of the lake and very quiet. I rented a kitchenette and I expected the regular amenities. But I got more coffee pot,dishes,bowls,cups silverware. And they came by everyday to replace towels, soap etc.. there is a great restaurant, a mini grocery store at the dock. The hotels are very separate from the camping trailers. It in a very very very clean place. Great customer service. The only thing I have negative to say is the door frames can be made more secured.

Your campsite rental is not fair, everyone tells a different story. We were told to wait till renters were out, and not to get the site card until they were gone & we did. When we pulled on site 34 today, just behind trailer that was leaving, the card was already gone- taken by someone while renter was still there. We had contacted both your campsite person and the marina employee, but Tammy said they had the card so she couldn't do anything but rent it to them-- Really! We had been waiting & watching for 3 days and were doing what we were told -not to go onto site until renter was gone. We live in Sterett Creek Village, have our boat at the marina, and been steady reliable customers of Sterett Creek Marina for years! Should have been some consideration and better communication on your part in this.
Stayed here during a fishing tournament this place is a joke. Supposedly I lost the TV remote when I remember putting it below the TV on the shelf. Called and talk to Cathy the owner and I guess customers are always wrong in her eyes. I did not take her remote I did not lose her remote but according to her I did and now she’s trying to take 25 from me out of my credit card. It’s not the 25 that bothers me it’s the principle. I won’t be staying here anymore or recommend any of my fishing buddies to stay here either.
Best Marina on Truman lake. They treat you like family. Fun fun fun at the drunken minnow
