There are not enough stars to give to nearly describe our experience and wedding cake from A Piece of Cake. Our vision came to life with a simple but nautical 3 tier wedding cake. The design was stunning and the cake flavors were amazing.
We ordered a small wedding cake back in February for or April wedding. As we all know Covid-19 forced a lot of weddings to be postponed and or canceled. We rescheduled a few times and eventually just got married in the privacy of our own yard. We decided to have a reception in July of 2021. My wife has gone to a Piece of Cake to cancel the cake and get our paid in full deposit refunded in the amount of approx 85.00 Instead she was talked into just talked into letting the deposit be applied to our new date of 2021. She felt as if she was forced to do so. I went there in late August to get the refund and was told that only 50% would be given back to us. The owner stated that it is her policy that only 50% is refundable and that it is stated on line and that it’s is her policy. you I didn’t order online, I ordered in person. I explained to her that if she wants to enforce her policy that a copy of such policy must be given to the customer at time of purchase. Which she stated that she does now give a written store return policy because of all the canceling that has happened. I told her that was not a fair practice of business and that i would like my full deposit back. she hung up on me twice and refused to work with me. I have since disputed the credit card transaction and i am very disappointed in how i was treated. We tried to support a local business and we got burned in the end and treated very poorly. I would think twice about doing business at this establishment. Buyer beware Sincerely Kevin
Brittni did an amazing job with a Star Wars cake that I ordered. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted. She worked with me so that it could be ready for when I needed it and I’m so thankful. It was delicious. The price was more than reasonable, her customer service was spot on. Thank you so much.
Not too friendly service but great dessert options. Some cupcakes had filling while others didn't.
