Both of My lovely Angels love it. They fully enjoy there. Nice temperatures. Fish in tank is good but the best part is in upstairs. You can see small cute monkey and many birds like you can feel you are in the jungle.

Amazonia provides an interactive learning experience. The atmosphere is that of the Amazon complete with live animals up close and personal. The temperature adds to the ambiance with a perfect balance of humidity.

One of my favorite exhibits at the zoo! The amazon river fish in the displays when you come in look ancient and alien. The non-aquatic animals aren't behind glass, so you can get up close with the spoonbills and have fun searching the trees over head for where that sound you just heard is coming from.

Experience the Amazon - starting underwater with a view into aquariums holding a variety of fishes from tiny tetras to 8-foot monsters, then head upstairs to walk through a forest filled with birds and monkeys. You can’t miss this if you’re visiting DC. It’s a truly wonderful place.
