Good happy hour drink and food specials. Plenty of tables inside even with Covid-19 restrictions. Sushi was ok and so was the chicken teriyaki. All the regular menu options plus plenty of drink and cocktails. Nothing stood out so we'll be trying more asian places before setting on this one.

I have never been on a sadder date than my last date at Asia Nine. Bright florescent lighting with a sad atmosphere of a lonely airport somewhere. Different music blaring from different places. No intimacy..the tables are arranged in a cold and thoughtless manner and if I could have taken my date and left...we would have simply gone to someplace else....the McDonald's down the street has more warmth and love than Asia Nine. With that said, the wait staff are lovely and try their best. There are things on the menu that are very nice. We ate good food and it was served very well. Their generous attitude is very nice but it does not make up for this being one of the saddest nights I have had at a restaurant in a long time. Can't explain in but I would have had a more intimate meal at Union Station.

Always loved this place. On this visit, there was something in the dynamite sushi which made me get an allergic reaction and my forehead got a bump. It went down after a few hours. But I would do it all again! Also had one of my friends fried roll which could have caused it also!

I've been twice during my stay in DC. I'll definitely be back in future visits! They were so friendly and attentive. Plus their sushi was amazing!!!! Out of all the sushi places where I've eaten, this was the only one to give me enough extra Ginger that I only had to ask for extra one time! Usually places are stingy with their Ginger. Yum! I HIGHLY recommend Asia Nine!!! Also, the plating of my sushi was very artful.
