For only servicing the military the staff and company does NOT service the military at all. I regret giving them any money. Living on base was super convenient but y PK or money can go so much further elsewhere dont throw money away for convenience

I have lived with Bolling Family Housing a year and it has been a JOKE. The houses are not worth the money. They have cheap appliances and HVAC systems making it hard to heat or cool a 3 story home. I have had MICE in my home and have friends who have had RATS. Housing office does not answer the phone. Maintenance does not properly fix things. For example, my friend felt a draft coming in under the window last winter. There is no weather stripping and they placed a piece of Styrofoam under the window as a fix. This is a prime example of how maintenance handles things. Another friend had weeds growing in her SECOND floor living room and had MOLD as well. Do your research before choosing to live here or seek a home with a company that actually cares because Bolling Family Housing does not!
If your looking to move the area I would research some of the other bases before this one but it depends a little on personal tolerance. The location isn't bad and the neighborhood is generally well kept and safe. The size and the layout of the house was pretty decent as well. The housing office staff for the most part has been professional when I would go in do business but they seem to have a pretty high turnover rate which translates to no one there has enough experience to know what is going on. We had some issues with billing and money that became pretty frustrating during our time there. Also maintenance on the homes isn't the greatest. In the beginning we would put in tickets to get things taken care but gave up after a while. My advice if you are moving in is keep all paperwork and receipts, get everything in writing, stay on top of billing and payments, and be prepared to take of maintenance issues on your own. Outside of that the neighbors we had were amazing
This is perfect housing for animal lovers, many houses come with 20-50 furry little friends (mice/rats) ready to be adopted! Play your cards right and maybe you'll be lucky enough to get a water feature in your house, of course it usually only works if someone is in the shower or its raining. Best part, you'll never need to see the doctor for antibiotics as many houses come with mold growing in the ducts. For entertainment there's the tattoo artist operating out of his garage, neighborhood swinger parties, and of course no night would be complete without picking up some smack from the corner drug dealer!! Maintenance is sketchy, but they make up for it by making sure the wife is aware she is the wife and they are the maintenance MEN.
I want to say Thank You to Nich and the rest of the team for addressing our work orders promptly and resolving the issues we were having. I know there have been a lot of bad reviews in the past, but I can definitely see a change in both communication and resolutions. Hopefully housing maintenance continues to deliver quality service for those living on Bolling.
