My first time going to Busboys and Poets and I must say it was a very good experience. I wish we weren’t in a pandemic so I could’ve enjoyed the full atmosphere with the performances and all. I went with a friend and we pretty much ate the same food and had the same drink. We had the DC Tap water drink and the blackened salmon over wild rice, asparagus and roasted corn and tomatoes. It was such a lovely meal and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our waiter was so nice too and funny, it was a good night. I hope to one day change my ratings to 5 stars after a full experience.

I’ve been to this location several times and the food is decent. Their service though. Today I went for brunch and had to leave without eating because they never even try to to pay attention to me. I noticed several servers walking around and I waved to see id they would come take my order but nothing. If you’re willing and able to wait the food is good. The attitude is horrible. Pandemic or not.

Due to covid we were seated outside. However the food is absolutely delicious. The outside heaters made the cold a lot more bare able. The service was very friendly and fast. I’d definitely love to visit once restrictions are lifted!! Would definitely recommend bigger soup portions but that’s my only critique.

This place is an absolute gem. My co-workers & I came here for a midweek dinner and I was blown away at the service plus quality & tastiness of the food. Every single thing we ordered was delicious & spot on. Highly recommend their Brussels sprouts appetiser. The cocktails were so well crafted & delicious as well. Can’t wait to return

The Greatest of restaurants concepts. Restaurants, Bookstore, art space, spokenword, lectures, poetry. This place is awesome. When I'm in Washington DC, I definitely stop through. I've been stopping here for over 8 years.Great venue, Great staff, A Great selection of books. P.s the Food and Drinks are Good. Recent pics and pics from past visits
