i wish you could rate even lower than 1 star. The licensing department is ran by a bunch of people who could care less about what they do. i have been waiting for my for my application to be fully process for going on 3 months now. i am typically a patient person but never have my patience been tested quite like this. i cant get help form anyone, the supervisors wont answer my emails nor person whos job it is to process applications. im a transfer applicant and i never had to deal with such unprofessionalism in a state office. something needs to change and fast.

I had a pretty horrible experience with the Dept. of Health, particularly with the licensing board. They do not return phone calls, are very rude when they do actually answer the phone, when you are waiting at the window to talk to someone they carry on side personal conversations and leave you waiting long times, they are very short with you, and give you attitude when you ask for more information. I don’t appreciate being talked down to when I’m trying to get my license here and I’m new to the District. Your laws and policies are very different here from anywhere else and they should recognize that and be more patient. I hope never have to deal with them again, but I know I will. Ugh!
I don’t understand this office.They don’t respond to emails, if you give them a call you have to wait for 2 hours max. If somebody answered the call, they just tell you to email this and email that but emails are not being responded. I’m just waiting for my eligibility but it’s been 11 months since they received my school credentials and when I check all my requirements MY CREDENTIALS WAS THE ONLY DOCUMENT MISSING
I have been working with the licensing department. It's very frustrating not being able to reach anyone on the phone, and then to not get responses to emails. Having licenses processed in a timely fashion affects livelihood - I really hope that something changes!
I submitted my application last week of Dec 2019. Until now it still shows \pending\. I tried calling and sent emails to ask what exactly this status means. Until now no response and I just can't get through to miss Butler. :( I wish they will be more responsive and empathetic.
