Dr.Bunker is absolutely phenomenal. He saved my life in 2013. He is empathetic and I highly recommend him. In Oct 2013 Dr Bunker was working in the ER of mount Sinai queens hospital and I had been in 5 times with an excruciating headache. He was the only Dr. That took my headache seriously and had my head scanned. I had a brain tumor. Thanks for saving my life. Thanks a million Dr. Bunker.! We need more Doctors like you.

They don't need a eferral\ but need notes from your primary care saying you need a specialist in this area (which is essentially a referral). I have a family history of RA and have been experiencing joint pain but apparently can't go to see a rheumatologist without wasting my time to tell my primary care doctor I have joint pain and family history of RA so she can then make a note of it. Frustrating beyond belief.

He listens carefully, thoughtfully , and patiently. He is very kind and always verifies my understanding of my condition and the steps considered for my betterment. I don't feel rushed. I feel that we are a team in this venture. He promptly responds to my emails. I feel safe. Terrific doctor!

Dr. Bunker was the first doctor in 18 years to actually listen to me and actually put a name to my disorder. After 18 years of something being wrong and a year of severe unexplained pain I finally got answers. While EDS is not necessarily a disorder Dr. Bunker treats he did everything in his power to give us resources to get help and improve my quality of life. He also was able to write a letter so I could finally get accommodations in school for my physical problems, and once I finally had a legit diagnosis I was able to get treatment and help. A year and a half later I am able to walk without an aid and have most of my life back with pain mostly under control. Thank you Dr. Bunker!

Dr. Bunker is wonderful! I was experiencing muscle pain and had not been correctly diagnosed until I met with him. He quickly figured out the problem and prescribed the proper medication. In addition, he is very kind and attentive, keeping in touch by email to check his patients' progress. I highly recommend Dr. Bunker.
