Dr. McGrail saved my wife's life in 1995 by removing a very complex AVM in her brain. He also has performed surgery on my lumbar spine to relieve issues relating to congenital defects in my spine. He is an amazing and talented neurosurgeon and also an extremely caring human being. He is recognized as a top neuro surgeon, year after year, for good reason. He is simply the best.

Dr. McGrail is absolutely wonderful. He performed my surgery to clip/wrap 3 aneurysms in 2009... I tried to worry for a second about the dangers and he wasn't with it at all. I was totally at ease and woke up in postoperative ICU with a huge smile. I am very grateful to, and appreciative of, the entire Neurological staff at Georgetown.

I went to Dr. McGrail for a lumbar disc setting on my nerve that was causing extreme pain in my lower back and traveling down my left leg to my calf. The moment I spoke to him I KNEW I was in good hands. Dr. McGrail understood my pain and assured me that I would be well taken care of right away. The next week he \added\ me into his schedule and performed the surgery. The surgery was a absolute success, which I had no doubt about due to his reassurance and professionalism. Dr. McGrail also have a awesome team of staff that works with him that helped. They all made me feel extremely important and most of all, comfortable as if I was home. I want to thank you all for taking me out of the such miserable pain I was in. Dr. McGrail is an AMAZING doctor!!!
