Although it wasn't an anticipated spot for that specific time in which I arrived, I had been interested in looking over the Dupont circle metro station stop for some time. I was greatly treated to funding a farmer's market that day and decided to indulge on its bounty, mostly because I have been quite a gratified with my experience with the Farmers market. The station itself seem to be in good condition and it also turned out it was the same station I recall being given mention in the former Express Newspaper, in which a person was growing sunflowers.

Convenient and bright Metro entrance. The very long escalators used to be flanked by lovely annuals that were privately furnished and planted, but then Metro personnel were ordered to remove every living thing. Why? Go figure. Now the escalators are bordered by barren dirt and rocks. What a shame.
