I visited the Bulgarian embassy in DC, where I was helped by Miss Tony and her colleague. The service was outstanding! Over the phone Miss Tony was very helpful, polite, and informative, but in person she was even nicer. The visit was enjoyable and an absolute pleasure. Meeting two beautiful, intelligent, and polite ladies made me feel proud to be a Bulgarian. I drove back with a wide smile and full of excitement, thinking – Why can’t we all be like that? Thank you!

Very nice and helpful people in the Consular section.
We had the greatest experience ever! Although NY is about 3.5h away from us, compared to Washington’s 8h , I would not think twice driving to Washington again. The consular in Washington is so nice and extremely helpful. We asked many questions and made many mistakes, but they never lost their patience. Between the fast response to my passport request (1 day), and the pleasant woman I should have asked her name) who helped us, a definite 5 stars.

Boyko Hadjiyski is absolutely amazing. He was so prompt and willing to help despite the fact that we contacted him last minute on a Sunday. If it wasn’t for what he did for us, our son wouldn’t be able to travel to Bulgaria tomorrow.
We are so pleased with everyone that works at the Embassy of Bulgaria, they are doing great job. I needed some information in advance and I spoke to a very pleasant lady on the phone, she was extremely helpful and told me everything I had to prepare before our trip to DC. When we got there the situation was the same - nice, kind and attentive people. We did not use expedited service for our documents, because we were told that they will arrive for about 2 months, but they were delivered in only 5 weeks.
