I’ve visited and seen a lot of embassy’s in Washington DC and this just is the premiere one. Build in the fifties it’s quite worn out but very cool at the same time. Typical Danish design at its best and the location is second to none. It’s like being in the woods. Visiting is possible - not indoors though - once a year at the embassies day.

Passport DC offered visitors the opportunity to tour the grounds and residence. Our tour took us inside the Ambassador's library area, formal dining room, where we observed Danish furniture and artwork. We were treated to a cheese display on the patio deck, overlooking the well kept garden. The entertainment consisted of a pop band, exhibits, including, their Legos for the kids. I also liked the flag display and the outdoor photo gallery.
Best experience than ever. The Ambassador and its staff are awesome.
A slice of Denmark in the heart of the US. The people at the embassy are were friendly and helpful.
