This place is worth a visit. They have large portions for reasonable prices. Always well kept and with great character. Will come back again.

Stopped by to grab a quick bite. Ordered the 'standard burger' basket. Expected the nothing special from a 12 meal in DC. But wow, this was the best burger I've had in a long time. Forget shake shack, forget five guys, this is the best burger I've had on the east coast. My expectations were blown out of the water. Oh, and the outdoor seating is absolutely lovely. Definitely returning next time I'm near U st.
These guys run a tight ship. The manager does an excellent job managing the waitlist during rush times, we got our table right as expected, and appreciated being able to plan accordingly. Worth the wait. This place is great. Great draft beers and next level barbecue and wings. If Austin, NYC, and DC ever had a baby it would be this.
I visit this marvelous restaurant from time to time as I enjoy the good air that is unique to this restaurant. The team is extraordianrillyremarkably friendly and experienced. The service is extraordinarily quick. Not to mention, the food they prepare is magnificent. I ate there often and I was always joyful. The rate is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to to everybody.
Garden District may pass at first glance as a rowdy beer garden, but don't be fooled by the large steins: The crowds are really there for one of the best barbecue options the District has to offer, with starters like grilled corn (order this right away as it takes a while) and fried pickles giving way to brisket and fried chicken sandwiches. While some biergarten fare graces the menu in the form of pretzels and assorted wursts (go curry or go home), the brisket sandwich is the understated star of the kitchen. Double your meat intake by asking for a side of bacon to later atop the juicy strips of brisket, and you have the best, if not the most caloric, combination of sweet and savory on the planet. And you can wash it all down with a liter of beer.
