I was lucky to get a full scholarship to attend here but felt like I wasted 4 months of my life. Some instructors were very arrogant and come off as if they did not want you there. They did not know how to teach a novice. As a a previous instructor myself and I come from an IT background I have never felt so lost in my life. My mother traces Computer Science at SNHU online and has a great success rate with her novice students. I’ve done programming classes in trade schools and college and have received straight A’s. The pre study materials came late. I was also told I couldn’t graduate because I had 3 lateness no absences even though I had a newborn at home. I defiantly agree that they are raises, are not family friendly and favor students who already know the work that’s being taught. Fortunately, for me I was offered a position more than 6 months later, but it was for 20,000 less than what I was making at my previous position. I have several different skilled trades as I was an older student. Older than all the instructors, so I have gone into business for myself and I’m happy I did.

Nice new location that just opened a couple of weeks ago. The office has ben nicely decorated. The interior design is cool and inviting. The rooms are well equipped and once they get over the adjusting period I am sure it will earn mainly 5 stars. The staff is very friendly and the I instructor we had for the UX immersive class was fun and knowledgeable. She made the group feel comfortable and catered to all the different levels of the students in the class.

It's always a great time at General Assembly and i love their new location. Plenty of space for the classes and activities and so organized. I'll be returning on a regular. Keep in mind that you have to climb a lot of stairs to get to their space in the building, so it doesn't seem handicap accessible. Also the bathrooms are unisex. Doesn't bother me, but some people don't like that.

I had an awesome immersive experience(web development). A lot of ups and downs but that is to be expected when you're doing a career change. Immersive (9am-5pm) and part time (usually evenings) courses available for 10-12 weeks. Instructors are very knowledgeable and provide a great learning atmosphere. Free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and coffee!
