It is breathtaking and I recommend a visit. There are good restaurants and bars. Kids friendly during day time. It used to be a very busy place but not at the moment. I recommend the place for couples. One of the best spots in DC to visit.

It had been an amazing evening at the park. The place is so happening and you have so much to do. Dine in at the finest restaurants, or carry your own food and just spend family time. Perfect for walks with kids, scootering, scateboarding too. The kayak and boating/ferry options are like cherry on top. The parking is just 14 flat for weekends and any weekday after 4pm. I don't know why had I missed this place from my most visited spots in DC.

A great area if your looking for a chill night out by the water. A number of good restaurants to choose from if you get hungry. And an all around great place to hang out with friends. Or if you're feeling romantic you could take your date here for a casual stroll. If your up for a picnic you can bring your sheets and relax on the grass for as long as you like. With an amazing view of the Arlington cityscape this is a great place to bring your camera and get in a couple of photo shoots. While parking can be a pain sometimes on busy nights, it is definitely worth it.

Such a great park, honestly! The surroundings are beautiful and so is the park itself. I’ve been many times, but the most recent time was perfect because of the nice weather. The park provides fantastic views of Arlington and the Kennedy Center - both great things to look at. I’d recommend bringing some food and having a picnic on the grass that’s situated right along the water. Or, if you’re feeling more active, a walk along the water is rewarding, too! As a kid I used to love climbing down the stairs to put my feet into the water, so that’s a good option for kids.

Great place to visit and start a walk on the Capitol Cresent or canal. Parking is tough, but you can park up in Georgetown for two hours for free. Sad after all these years they can't get the canal finished and filled.
