I have supported Greenpeace for forty of the forty-six years they have been active. There is one glaring, disqualifying, omission in the Greenpeace story. The WHY Japanese, Norwegian, other island or marine countries kill whales. Whale blubber is their source of glycerin to make nitroglycerine, hence to cordite for naval shells. One whale per eighteen inch shell. Killing whales to kill people. Until Greenpeace makes this point, I won't support them. Here is an organization to AVOID. I'm handling an estate for a friend who recently passed away. She was not gone 2 weeks and I am getting demands from Greenpeace for money and an accounting of the entire estate. When I did send them a check (as per the will-I would not give them a cent) they lost the check and deny ever getting anything even though I have a letter signed by Rogelia Ocampo. There carelessness is holding up closing out the estate. When I called to inquire the receptionist was nothing but rude and unhelpful.
