It really depends on who's there that day I posted a picture of the first time I went there which I really do and my food was laid out amazingly. The second time I came back there the lamb tips were literally too hard to even chew. Customer service and food seem to vary from day to day. The second time was like Christmas or I guess it was a different crew I don't know but if you're getting lamb tips don't get them well done Make sure you specify.

As usual, the best eats you can possibly find in the city. If you are a carnivore, don't go anywhere else but here. The food tastes marvelous.I have tried just about every Ethiopian restaurant in the DC metro area. Amazingly this tops them all. I can't say much about there vegan dish but if you look at the pictures I took off the meat selection, it's really out of this world.

I was picking up an order and there was two cashiers at the counter. Both were at a register but one was ringing up customers and was doing a tally at the other one. I patiently waited 2 minutes at the register tallying. The cashier was about to walk away from the register and I said excuse me and the cashier pointed her finger at me and told me -WAIT and walks away. Still waiting after that, the other cashier attended to me and I finally received the order. She also apologized for the wait. Still rude and slow customer service. There is no excuse for such service during these hard times.

Simply delicious and good value. Friendly service with plenty of Ethiopians eating here (actually 90% I'd say). Open view kitchen in a cosy environment. The wife loved it so much she ordered a second dinner! Would be back if I lived here.

Man the food was good but the customer service is bad vary bad the lady on the phone was so rude for her own mistakes on the food order she was more focused on refunding the money than getting what I wanted and had a big attitude about it i know u might be having a bad day but be professional or don't pick up the phone. by the way am Ethiopian its so sad I had to do this to my own people but I hope its a good lesson let's start from scratch and be professional its not rocket science to take orders and be polite.
