I always recommend the oral surgery dept at Howard, though I went years ago they did such a wonderful job that I was eating in no time, healed pretty quickly and it was really painless. I believe walk-ins were Tuesday’s so I walked, was seen and left! Definitely didn’t expect things to go so well-being as though I had to get my wisdoms pulled but I never even felt any pain!

I’ve called maybe around 76 times to make an appointments with my mother and only once did they answer. And when they did this is how it down 1-“ hello, how may I assist you today” 2-“hello, I was wondering if I can get an appointment 1-“hold on a sec” (20 minutes later) She Still didn’t come back so I just hanged up on her. I think it’s best to go over and to schedule an appointment to yourself.

Just horrible I have my temporary crown put in a week a go and have to wait another 3 weeks just so I can get my permanent crown made. So I total I have to wait about a month and a half just to get my grown made. BTW I have to pay 100 to recerement my temporary crown that is keep falling off. And if you total everything from start to finish the it cost me over 800 And more than a month waiting to get one tooth fixed even that is not guaranteed

In my opinion this practice is a nightmare to work with and Howard University should not allow them to use its name! HU has a strong and respected reputation and this practice tarnishes their name. As of today, and apparently for some time now (although they will not effectively communicate this) this practice does not have the necessary credentials to do certain procedures, tooth extraction being one of the procedures. I would encourage anyone wishing to use this practice to FIRST start with your insurance company and ask your insurance company if they are an authorized dental provider. Taking this first step will save you time and frustration. This dental office will tell you that they accept your insurance but they will not tell you that your insurance does not accept them... lol!

The worst experienced ever, I had a wisdom tooth extraction and spent more than 2 1/2 week in pain .The staff was not helpful. I will never go back.

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance (their soonest available time) but they never actually made the appointment. I asked to speak to a manager about it and they claimed there was no manager there. They aren't open most of the time. The list goes on and on. I can see why students were protesting the University. Their administrative support IS terrible. Never again.
