Be careful. This place is habit forming. Truly beautiful little chocolate shop in Union Station. It will make you forget you ever heard about G-word. Great assortment. The chocolate "bark" is incredible. Lots of gift items in a variety of price ranges. Nicely done!

Congratulations to this new DC location! We visited a couple weeks ago for a special birthday celebration. The two gentlemen who were working that day were so knowledgeable and helpful. They told us about the special qualities of Laderach chocolate and the process of making it. We sampled and purchased gifts to send to others as well as treats for our birthday kid. Walking into the store from the quiet and cold train station was like stepping through a portal into a warm and inviting world of chocolate. We wish them much success and hope the store is there to welcome travelers back to Washington for many years to come.
The chocolate was great and delicious but even better were how kind and friendly the two men working there were. It was totally their kindness that lead us to buy as much as we did. They offered the children samples and were very helpful.
SO HAPPY we have Laderach in dc! RUN to this fresh, beautiful, Swiss masterpiece of chocolate!
