I still have yet to receive confirmation or communication regarding my application that was submitted 5 weeks ago. I've sent Pepper Reed multiple emails and called consistently with no answer to my calls or emails. I plan to contact the supervisor and escalate the situation.

Zero accountability. Issues incorrect document, and never respond to any attempt to contact the clerk. When finally got hold this guy, Mohammed Kabbany, no apology for screwing up. Go somewhere else and get married people

Do you want to hear a funny joke? Well it doesn't matter if you want to hear it or not. If you're reading this, you're going to see this joke anyways... What is the leading cause of divorce? wait for it...wait for it.... MARRIAGE! I'll be here all night folks. Seriously though. Love is cursed by monogamy

Terrible service. We submitted all by email and paper and there was no follow up, acknowledge of receipt and almost no communication. We started contact with Pepper Reed and she lost our papers, didn't get back to us and we had to contact the supervisor.

I love that you can pre-submit the license application online and then get a quick confirmation when you are able to come in to show your IDs and collect your license. The office is a little difficult to find, however - - go downstairs and keep walking past the hearing rooms. Once there, sign in on the computer past the chairs. The staff is pretty friendly and helpful and the process pretty simple. Also, did you know you can self-officiate? Pretty amazing perk in DC.
