this place is a nightmare. They've been \managing\ my Roth IRA for years and I have historically received about 1 phone call per year in which a few stocks are bought/sold, presumably as a way to justify the quarterly advisory fees. I was meaning to change for years before I finally submitted the request. Twice. That was 2 months ago, and the funds still haven't been transferred, instead I've lost 10% of my portfolio in the market downturn, helpless to do anything but watch, yet they continue to charge me fees. When I called after the first transfer request wasn't granted, it was explained to me that my account had been passed on to someone else who had since left the firm and no one there could access it. \Can you access it online and tell me if the stocks are in your account?\ she asked. Comforting.
