Great place to learn a bunch about American history. I have been here multiple times and it never gets old. If you are traveling with family it’s a good place to visit. Perhaps you are on a work trip... I would stop here as well. The portraits are incredible to see and the number of available of artwork is fantastic.

I enjoyed this gallery but was disappointed that Michele Obama portrait wasn't available to see. It will be on display November 13, 2020. It was taken down so they can relocate it since its the main attraction. But overall, this gallery is a wonderful place especially if you love art like I do!
A must visit place in Washington, DC. Centrally located. Walking distance from Capital One Arena and China Town. Incredible collection of art. Kohod Courtyard in the middle of the gallery was mind blowing.
I love visiting the National Portrait Gallery. The Gallery has impressive collections and the atrium is one of my favorite spots in DC. I highly recommend visiting.
Great place to see some beautiful artwork and walk through American history. The atrium has a great cafe to stop and relax.
I've seen the ship with me own eyes if you type while playing AOE 1 or the remake Flying Dutchman your ships can sail on land, also Spongebob has its own version of the ship.
Lovely museum filled with beautiful art and sculptures. There's so much history here. Everyone was friendly and I would love to come back one day.
Love this spot. I put my music on my ear and walk around. It’s very relaxing. Great visual.
