Being a very active Boomer in my seventies who doesn’t do medical solutions or drugs if there is any other way, I am DELIGHTED to find Andrea Jacobsen-Juarez and am feeling more confident of staying well and robust. Her analyses are clinically brilliant, spot-on and always effective! I leave her office feeling physically better AND armed with exercises to improve my alignment. WOW!

Dr Jacobson is amazing. Much more knowledgeable than any other Physical Therapist I've ever been to. I was surprised and pleased at how much she is hands on, massaging and targeting problem areas where many others rely on machines. And she is warm and super friendly!

I have been seeing Dr. Jacobson for a couple years and she has helped me immensely. (I’ve written a previous review.) Recently, I tested the efficacy of her work with me to “the max.” I did an 18-day, multi-city, trip to both Australia and New Zealand. Before leaving, I worried that I’d come back in “bad shape.” But her work with me has been so effective that I returned from the trip “intact” – with no regression! I also have coped with motion sickness since being a child. As an added benefit, Dr. Jacobson taught me some simple exercises (usually used for dizziness and balance) before I left. Despite daily travel by plane, bus, ferry, and cab, my motion sickness was much better during the entire trip. It never interfered with my plans for sightseeing!

Andrea is a miracle worker. I had back and neck pain for years and years. After seeing numerous doctors who either misdiagnosed me or said they couldn’t figure out the cause of my pain, I was referred to Dr. Jacobson-Juarez. Within 5 minutes of the start of my first appointment, I knew I had finally found the right person. She first asked me to stand up and look at her. Almost immediately, she said something that I thought I would never hear. She said, “I know exactly what’s wrong with you.” She then asked questions, which, based on the area of my pain and my history, made so much sense. She then did a very thorough examination, which confirmed her initial diagnosis. One of the many things I really appreciate about Dr. J is that she takes thorough notes at the start of the appointment about how I felt during the week and again at the end to document what she had done and my response during the session. Dr. J is incredibly bright and knowledgeable about the body and movement. She used terms that made this clear, however, she always followed up her medical explanation with a thorough explanation in layman’s terms. I no longer have to see Dr. J every week. I now spend the majority of my days pain free, and if some pain returns for any reason, she taught me simple exercises to help alleviate the pain. I’ve been back a couple of times for quick tune-ups for my back. I really never thought the day would come that I could say the words “pain free.” I wasn’t an easy fix, especially because we had to switch over to my knee when I had to have surgery. She never gave up on me during the time I saw her, even when I confessed to not doing my exercises during the week. I highly recommend Dr. J. You should see her if you know exactly what your problem is, and you should call her immediately if you’ve had chronic pain that has never been accurately diagnosed. She loves challenges and will make it her mission to be the last doctor or physical therapist you’ll ever have to see!

I saw Dr. Jacobson-Juarez for plantar fasciitis and a bone spur in 2017. I received great care and would highly recommend her. She was diligent, thoughtful and incredibly patient, which my stubborn case required. Dr. Jacobson was acutely focused on my condition, but also realistic about what she knew my busy life could endure and tailored exercises and treatment accordingly. I greatly appreciated that holistic approach. She helped me reach of goal of recovery without surgery for which I'll forever be grateful. Dr. Jacobson is magic.
