Went by earlier today to get a suit for my brothers upcoming wedding and never had an experience as good as Professional Man. Nick was very helpful in helping me find a suit that made me feel confident and met what I was looking for to match with my brothers. On top of the alterations that they do in house thanks to Mehran who helped me understand what the alterations he would make would do to the fit of the suit, he also helped me find a great combination of shirt and tie to go with my beautiful Navy Blue Italian suit. Definitely coming back to get my next suit from them.

Get a Great suit while you still can! I was visiting DC for a scientific conference and decided it would be a good opportunity to shop and get a feel for quality levels in suits. I went to most of the places in town from Jos A Bank to Enzo. Of the off the rack suits, I liked the construction of the suits at Professional man best, my gut said it looked and felt right. Nevertheless I was slightly suspicious, it seemed like it could be a scam considering the large markdown. I went back to the shop thinking I was going to back out of my commitment to buy a suit the day before. Fortuitously, another long time customer, an African expatriot, was there at the same time. I asked him how he felt about their suits. He proceeded to rave, with the general effect being they were the best thing since sliced bread. Everyone comments on the suit he said, everywhere he went people asked where he got it. He has had them for years! He validated what they said, that the suit could be slept in or crumpled and just left to hang completely flat and that liquid came right off it. He had owed their suits for several years and thought the place a well kept secret. I decided to go with my instincts as a craftsman and the gentlemen’s word and get the suit. After getting home I became concerned that my suit was a little too magical and the Italian tag suggested polyester and vicose and I wondered if the suit was really 150s wool. Being a scientist I simply decided to take some of the fabric cut off my pants and put in on the microscope. I did and sure enough it was absolutely wool, it was very clear from the scales on the fibers, and likely quite a fine wools at that. I also had a tailor tell it me it looked like a 2000 suit even though I spent less than half that on sale.

Great place to buy the best quality suits in all of the Washington DC area. Did not know that a suit could be so comfortable to wear. The Italian wool is comfortable to the touch and the overall customer service from both Mehran and Nik was outstanding.
