I used to rely on all my furnishing needs when I wanted something solid and nice. NEVER AGAIN... After shopping for months and finally finding the perfect couch, I ordered a Linger sectional, in September. Six months later, I am stuck in an endless loop of delays. My order was previously delayed in December then again in January and now recently delayed again. There have been no good faith efforts to make this right. The sales rep has been responsive, as has been the manager, but still no answers. No one knows where this couch is and I was told that’s just a reality of COVID. In fact, I was planning on buying things from Room and Board to complement my purchase when it arrived - but that day may never come. Now, it seems Room and Board has accepted that they are obsolete in the age of online competitors who offer comparable craftsmanship but that offer supreme customer service and delivery. The rest of my home is furnished with online furniture competitors, such as Article, and my interaction with Room and Board is the most negative experience I’ve had in customer service in my life!! STAY AWAY.

I ordered a couch from here in August and it was to be delivered at the start of December. It was delayed until the end of December and I waited for it to arrive. 1 day before it was supposed to arrive in the warehouse I got an email saying it would be delayed for 2 more months. I waited for 2 months and days before it was supposed to arrive in the warehouse after the 2 month delay I got an email saying it was delayed again. I have called customer service and they have been of no help. They have no idea when the couch will arrive or what the progress is on it. They will not give a discount for this long delay. I am stuck in a pattern where I expect the couch to arrive any day, and then it gets pushed back. This is not okay. I paid over 3k for my couch and am just getting brushed off by customer service, the managers that I have spoken with, and the associates who we spoke to in the store we shopped at. I was planning on purchasing a side table, coffee table, and lamp after the couch arrived, but I will no longer be using room and board in the future. I ask you all to be wary of purchasing from here. I paid for the couch in full and now it looks as if it will never arrive. I expect more from this company, and am highly dissapointed.
The day before delivery I got a call that one of the dressers I ordered was defective, but they were calling to tell my they were putting in an exchange order and I could use the defective dresser until I get the new one. That's awesome customer service! I bought two bedroom sets and was looking for strong furniture as my husband and daughter tend to play aggressively. I was super pleased when the furniture came; there is no way they're breaking steel. I look forward to my future furniture purchases as everything is so well crafted.
Stylish, high quality furniture in a multi-level showroom right in the heart of Logan. Prices are higher than the lesser competition, but you're getting quality here.
Love this company! Might want to also look at Little Homestead furniture in Rockville Maryland. It is a much smaller family owned store that has some great American wood furniture.
