I really liked their food and customer service, excellent area nearby to my apartment. The cashiers are always very kind. Would recommend to others.

I cannot explain well enough how impeccable the food, cocktails, and vibe are at this place, so hopefully my photos convince you. Ordered one of everything on the izakaya side, some of the veggies, an onigiri and some seconds on the skewers, four drinks, shared with a mate. The sous vide beef shortrib was fall apart tender and crusted perfectly, and everything was some of the best I've had. Another great standout was the charred leeks with some crazy umeboshi emulsion with the bring tartness contrasting with the earthy ashiness of the leeks. World class.

Amazing! Chef Darren and Candice really kill it. Pork belly and short rib skewers to die for. Healthy portions of sushi. Sake selection is on point. Really best Japanese yakitori and sushi spot I’ve been too. Bravo guys, hats off to Shibuya.

Unfortunately I found everything from the vegan menu to lack flavor. I ordered the carrot, yam, and eggplant dishes and they were simply charred without much on it. I ordered a hot soba noodle dish as well and in addition to being delivered totally cold there it didn't have the accompanying items that were supposed to come with. The portions were also frustrating (literally 12 green beans for 7?). The rolls were good, luckily.

We had the pleasure of recently dining at Shibuya Eatery for the first time. The entire experience was superb. The cocktails and food were absolutely delicious. Wanting to sample a bit of everything on the menu, we ordered several dishes. We started with the Temarizushi Box, which may have been my favorite. The round rice balls under the thick pieces of fish, shrimp, eel, clam and tofu literally melts in your mouth. We then moved on to the Binchotan Skewers, having the beef short rib, Koji chicken breast, ground chicken, shiitake mushrooms and charred baby leeks. I recommend the short ribs. We finished with the Wagyu Beef Donburi. This dish was savory and filling- very much a comfort food. We will certainly be back.

Great patio with a lovely firepit! The food and service were both really good. Great vegetarian choices - loved the yam and the donburi!

I ordered a picnic for six, but called the restaurant to help walk through the menu, quantities, and expectations. Everything ended up amazing. the Short Rib skewers (and amazing rub) we're the hit of the event! The pork noodles were also spectacular. The preparation was on point and the everything was packed well for easy transportation. Shibuya Eatery is my new go-to in 18th Street. Thanks guys!

We went for lunch and were the only diners that day. I would actually say the food is closer to a 3, but gave 4 stars due to the service and friendliness of the servers. This was our first time here and we ordered a couple bento boxes. The pork belly, which really should be juicy and tender due to all the fat, was very very dry. It seems the pork was cooked over too high a flame, the outsides were closer to burnt than charred. A couple of the veggie sides ordered were good, but the "purple sweet potato" wasn't purple..it was just regular sweet potato. But it was also very dry. The other non-Asian spot in the area we've tried yakitori at is Zeppelin (pre-COVID), and there was a huge difference in the food product at Zeppelin and here. Again, the servers were both very friendly and attentive and seemed genuine, which helped the experience.
