I haven't bought a \good\ pair of shoes in many many years. I went to Shoe Carnival looking for a pair, which I found a pair I loved and purchased them, not knowing how to get the correct size (meaning how much space between your toes and tip of the shoe). There were no employees around to ask questions, seek help in finding what I was looking for, etc. When checking out, I was asking questions and they didn't seem to helpful or thrilled. I didn't know of any other shoe stores in the area, and I saw one when leaving town. I know everyone has a bad/off day, so I am just gonna say this was the cause. I won't go back, unless I really need too.

Selection is pretty decent. I found a great pair of Nikes. Coukd be better on selection though
