Wonderful! I worked an exclusive event on this boat and it was great! Everything was top notch on the boat. The check in process could have been a tad bit smoother, but this was the first time we had the event on this boat and I'm sure it will be better in the future.

From the moment we stepped on-board, to the end of the cruise, we felt really looked after and welcome. The staff were great, friendly and really cheerful - the breakfast buffet was really good, with lots of food on offer - the cruise itself was smooth and the commentary was really good all along the way - and the visit to the house was great too, with plenty of time to see and experience the place. All in all, a really great trip!

The staff, led by Jasmine, took amazing care of us on the Valentines Day dinner cruise, on the night I proposed to my girlfriend! Such wonderful personal attention. She was blown away! Thank you all!

If you are a teacher planning a student trip to Washington DC, this is a wonderful event to add to your itinerary. Students will love you for giving them an opportunity to unwind, relax, and have fun with their friends on this student cruise. The food, entertainment, and service are all amazing! Thank you Hornblower Cruises for bringing smiles to our students!

We did the 4th of July cruise here and the only thing redeeming was the fireworks. There was no food left on the buffet by the time our table was called. The ship was absolutely disgusting, it smelled so bad I’m not sure I could have eaten on it if I wanted to. They seated us directly under a vent and we were freezing. They offered to move us to another table but it was broken so we went back to our freezing table under the vent but at least by the window. The upstairs had a big piece of rotten furniture on it that was too huge to move out of the way and blocked half the people who wanted to stand on the side of the ship with the fireworks. Again that was the only redeeming factor. This ship needs massive renovation or to be discontinued. I wouldn’t recommend anyone book a dinner cruise on it.

Awesome experience. For a very small dollar amount, this experience was just so much fun. Well guided tour and staff were as pleasant as good be. I told all my friends and they are booking future trips. This is a must do activity. Especially for children. My 6 year old daughter shared her experience in school and the teacher was so impressed with her new knowledge.

We purchased a breakfast cruise to Mount Vernon for April 19. We picked up our tickets, went through a quick bag check for safety reasons, and boarded. It was so simple. It was relaxing to take a slow trip down the Potomac River. Our cruise featured live narration, which included cool information about Mount Vernon, George Washington, landmarks, and other notable people. The food on the breakfast buffet was pretty good. I’ve read some reviews that complain about the food for what you pay, but I’ve seen a breakfast buffet at a 4 star hotel with less variety than this one. They had scrambled eggs, seasoned potatoes, sausage, bacon, and mini waffles with syrup, plus a substantial spread of pastries and croissants. Considering that this cruise lasted from 8:00-3:00, it pretty much consumes your day. Most attractions in D.C. close at about 5:30, so you may or may not be able to fit something else in. Nonetheless, I think this is the best way to visit Mount Vernon, especially if you’ve had a busy, hectic week in the city. My only suggestion is that they extend the time you have at Mount Vernon. We had 3 hours. If you’re a history buff like I am, you’ll find yourself a little pressed for time to see everything and read the signs. I believe four hours would be perfect. I will definitely take this cruise again.

Was a great way to get to Mt Vernon. , the approx 3 hours was a perfect amount of time for us (there wasn't time to see the distillery). Breakfast was great - 2 cheaper if book it with your tickets.
