Beautiful liturgy and atmosphere unmatched among high church AngloCatholic services. I have attended off and on for nearly forty years. Here the emphasis is on the worship, although there are many ways to serve and practice Christian charity available for those willing to do so.

Saddened at some of the reviews here. I'm a regular parishioner and have almost never heard politics preached from the pulpit at St Paul's. Mentioning social issues politics, so if you don't like to hear about serving the needy, yes, you might not appreciate the preaching. And to the reviewer who expressed indignation over the Nicene Creed we use: Read p. 328 of the 1979 Prayer Book - it says \for us men\! While we at St Paul's hold a range of views on many things, we find unity in our creedal Faith, our practice of the Anglo-Catholic tradition, our outreach, and our love for God and one another. All are welcome to \come and see\!

A beautiful church with a most welcoming parish, high Anglican Rite I liturgy, and strong music program. The sermon was politically charged, which I found dismaying. I firmly believe politics has no place in anyone's church experience. We visit DC a couple times a year and probably will not return, which is unfortunate as the Mass is well done.

Just attended 7:45am service. Beautiful church. Surprised to read a pre-1979 version of the Nicene Creed--\for us MEN and our salvation.\ Really? In 2016? But perhaps with all male clergy and staff, that wan't noticed.
