With its small buildings voughan place is very silent and neat place. Has a sports center and main building gives you a good service like keeping your posts and cargo while you are not at home. Lots of trees and squarrels :) love it!
Leasing office staff have been ignoring multiple request to communicate regarding a rent over payment. Vaughan Place has a significant amount of our money and is giving us the run around. Lease is over, apartment, vacated and clean. If rent was late, they had no problem charging late fees, but now when the shoe is on the other foot, they are ignoring calls and emails and pushing us off. They owe us a month’s rent! Nicole is horrible to work with and is giving us the run around. This is completely unacceptable. Rent somewhere else! DC is a big city with plenty of other options.
I have not had a stove/ oven for almost a week now meaning I cannot cook my own food in quarantine. The office has been unresponsive to calls, leasing email has been unresponsive as well. The front desk told us we were going to be seen last Friday by maintenance and it’s been 4 days, no maintenance worker has shown up or been in contact. Within a month of moving in our microwave sparked and it took a month for someone to come in and look at it and that was only when I forced them to look at it when they came to respond to our maintenance request about no water coming to our sink. This has been a very disappointing experience and our apartment is very expensive. We have been understanding about the parameters in place during Covid but not being able to make your own meals during a pandemic when you are required to be at home is absolutely unacceptable.
Please fix the elevator #2 in the tower! It was my second locked in the elevator. This time I was trapped in the elevator for over 30mins in the summer time with NO AC inside, before I was finally rescued!
