Usually go to a similar home improvement type of store, you know, the orange and black decorated one?? Anyhow...I was pleasantly surprised at all the great sales and clearance things I found at Lowe's. Not to mention they were super nice and very helpful too!

Thank you Lowe’s for allowing us to bring the puppy by for service dog training. Lowe’s locations across the country welcome puppies looking for places to visit for educational outings. It was also great to soak in some rays in the Garden Center, -15 outside but all tropics inside! Speaking of cold, the forecast has us getting snow tomorrow and going even lower next week Alaska. Lowe’s has competitive prices on snowblowers and heaters and helpful staff if you need assistance making a choice.

There really isn't much you can say about a box store that would help someone choose or not choose to go there. The only reason I made my purchase there was because I had a gift card. When I went through the self check out, I thought I looked pretty good. Then I rung up my purchase at the machines that don't have cashiers. My gift card errored out. Twice. The attendant came over and used the expert method of rubbing the card on his jeans and then putting it in the reader. Nope. The thing that pleased me as a customer was that the attendant remained undeterred and even brought the purchase over to another machine, and when that didn't work, he entered the serial number manually and then used some magic Manger override when that didn't work. I bought batteries. He put in a lot of effort for that puny purchase.

Couldn’t find ANY associates to assist me in the paint department- I ended up having to figure things out on my own. I also had difficulty reaching an associate from the paint department when I called on the phone earlier that day. They may need to hire a few more PAINT DEPT ASSOCIATES soon!
