Come on Wasilla, you're letting this classic log structure crumble. Seriously needs maintenance! The garbage on the entry floor was disgusting and yes, it was closed for the winter, so what. The only bright spot were the cedar wax wings eating on the crab apple tree. Use some tax dollars for a face lift this Spring.

Small museum showcasing the history of Wasilla, in addition to travel material, and other old collections. Such as a calendar dated back to 1947! The staff were also very friendly.

Super cute. Free this summer while they work on moving to their new building. They have a town historian, i forget that sweet man's name. About 90 years old-full of knowledge. I loved chatting with him. Been several times, I learn something new Everytime. All the staff is friendly and informative

Took my kids ages 3,5,7,13 they all enjoyed it and so did I. The younger man that greeted us was friendly and interacted with the kids well. The tour guide is so full of knowledge of our local history. I highly encourage, if you haven't been there, go at least once. It's not because it's super exciting but just for a hint of where this town comes from.
