Jay-Mar is a local hometown business that everyone in CT should be proud to support. I have used their services for the last 3 years and no mater what my ask is, Marilyn and Lucy always come through! Sometimes my ask is planned out and there is time for us to work together and other times I’m in a pinch! No matter what, their response and the result is exactly the same! I was looking to make ribbons for cowbells to give as a gift to the parents of my daughter’s dance team. I called everywhere and no one would do them. I went to Party City and was recommended to go to Jay-Mar. From the I walked into the door I was welcomed. Marilyn and her partner are phenomenal. My ribbons were unique because each dancers name was being placed on the ribbon. I needed them within a week. Marilyn agreed to have them done by Thursday which was exactly 7 days from the date I was placing my order. I received a call on Monday (three days earlier) that my ribbons were ready. The most important thing to add is that she was already swamped with orders that were placed months in advance. I am forever grateful to them. If you're looking for anything for your event go to Jay-Mar first.

I haven't been there since before they moved from the previous location of many years. They focus much more on cheerleading items. Limited party items in the store. More speciality items for parties on hand. The owner was helpful and courteous. Call ahead to chat about what your looking for but if you have time browse there is still a lot of inventory to inspire your creative side.
