I always hated to try on jeans , untill I met this beautiful soul that works in Torrid , Waterbury store ! This girl knew the perfect Jean for MY curvy figure . Space for the hips and booty , yet skinny in the leg and ancle .She knew the name the length the fit ,the shade of every Jean that Torrid carries ! So with all the expertise help from one little gurl from Brooklyn , I bought me a few pairs of great fitting beautiful curve flattering jeans ! I am So great full that this little hidden gem is there , inside Torrid , for me ! Okay not just for me , for everyone ... A personal shopper per say...Or finally just someone who knows HOW to fit your figure with a great pair of jeans ! So 5 stars for the wonderful working staff at Torrid ! You have a gem that you should hold on dearly to... She keeps me comming back !2

I was in the store and witnessed the manager berate an employee, rather unprofessionally. She used foul language to do so, and did this in front of customers. It made me very uncomfortable, and I left without purchasing what I came in for. I am sure there was a better way to handle that situation, without embarrassing the poor employee. Very unprofessional management skills.

I love torrid ! There is no better place for clothes and a place to feel welcomed especially if you happen to be a plus size female . From the moment you walk in you are welcomed and the customers are always nice I can't say enough about what a haven this store is prices are reasonable and the with a fit you can swear by it's just amazing !
