I was approached by a nasty, uncalled for, potentially problematic individual today. I was with my little boy, miles away from my home in freezing weather, just trying to get him out of the house for a little winter fun. This person approached me and tried to tell me where I could/could not walk. I didn't understand why he felt the need to talk to me, seeing as how my son and I are standing still, AWAY from him. We were on the opposite side of the trail and he was skiing. We JUST got there. I started to leave, but then changed my mind seeing as how I have just as much right to be there as he does. I told him \have a good day!\ and proceeded to walk with my little one down the trail as originally planned. He slammed his ski poles down to the point where the metal penetrated the snow and you heard it hit pavement. I turned my back on him to focus on my son, and, again, wished him a great day! This upset him, I assume because he continued to snap on me. He snapped, skied away, stopped, snapped, and kept doing this until he got half way down another trail. He then turns around and says \F--k you!\ to me. He made me very uncomfortable. I was with a small child, he initiated and instigated the entire situation. I had to try to watch out for my son (he's very young and was just interested in having fun) and wonder/worry about this person. He got so upset over nothing. And I refused to go back and forth with him. I still had a nice time, and my little one had fun as well. But from now on, I stay extra on my guard.

Great place for a walk/run but I wouldn't go alone. Waterfall not that far from parking lot and restrooms by the parking lot (not sure if they were open).

Beautiful place to hike to, but the parking lot is extremely small so everyone parks on the shoulder of the main road
