Excellent course and am glad to see them on golf now!! Have played there 4 times or so this year and it has always been in great shape. The staff is great and Ty and his team have the place improving all the time and looking great!! They also have the best cart staff, one young man named Evan, gave me a ride back to my car since it was raining!! True class!

I have been playing Waterford for 20 years. I moved too far away to go much anymore, but it was weekly for several years. I was just back today on a stellar day for end of December for the first time in a long time. This is a golfers golf course-just so enjoyable and fair and still my favorite in the Charlotte area. Pace of play was great and the greens were just awesome for December. I really have to make the 45 minute drive more often.

We had a very enjoyable round of golf at Waterford yesterday. Except for #10, all the tee boxes were in good shape. The shorter par 3s were heavily divoted of course, and #10 looked like it had been eroded by a flash flood from a nearby creek. Fairways were in great shape as were the sandtraps. The greens were amazing! Lightning fast and true, the slopes from Irwin's original design. We played in less than 4 hours but did not rush. Definitely on our short list of places to play in the Charlotte area!

The course is in the best shape that I have ever seen. The greens are in mint condition. I love the course set-up as some holes giveth and some holes taketh. I recommend this course. I hope in the near future that they up the anti on their practice facility to match the course.
