With gods Hand i have made it thru the darkness of my demons.... Not to continue the fight and once again become me.... It took falling to the bottom of hell's fury to finally see that I couldnt fight this alone.. So asking for help and accepting that help took me away from my family for daysssss and isolated me into a place I had to be..... I forever am indebted to Meridian health services detox and inpatient treatment center and the group of women fighting fo themselves as well and becoming my friends and support system thru it all.... And for breaking me free from the demons that I allowed to control me.... Mr Charles Weems is a man I will forever respect and love for breaking me down to see WHY I was becoming the monster I had become... Thank you so much for believing in me... I got this thanks to you all.....

I was sent there from the Oakland County Jail in or around 2001. To be honest with you,I was surprised that this place is still around! For the most part it was like any other \hard core\ treatment program, and Ive been in several of them. Like every other program ive been in the end result is your directed to attend 12 step meetings upon release. Was the place clean? Not really, but Ive seen worse. Was the food plentiful and good? Not really, but then again,Ive seen worse. Did the staff really care about an individuals recovery? I think so,but their hands were tied when it came to your future upon realease.I was one of those people who had no funds or any place to go when I was released during the winter months. What did I/they do about my situation? They found me a bed at The Salvation Army in Plymouth-- another rehab program! It was either that or a snow bank for me so I didnt complain too much. Would I recommend this place to someone? Not a chance. In fact,I would advise them to stay far away from this place as it appeared to be a money mill for those who run it more than a recovery program. Truly one of the worse programs I have ever been in. This place will make a guy WANT to drink and drug after his 90 day stay!!

Good only for detox or alternative to jail. NO job placement or any aid to really transition to the real world. If your family member is here, YOU must work to find them transitional housing after this step is complete... and they have to comply. God bless.

I have a lady friend who is a client. If you are not ready for a change and are not ready for help of course this place is going to suck. I went from 3 stars to 5 stars. This place is only as good as the effort you are going to give to sobriety. I was at a 3 star yesterday changed it to 5 stars today. If staff reads this one thing about you program that really bugs me is your 8 to 4 window for drop offs Monday through Friday. There are really good people in your clients lives that make dropping off and mailing on Saturday due to work almost mission impossible. That is my only complaint. Maybe one day for drop offs til 7 or 8 maybe.

Terrible experience for my son.No communication from staff. He was released to the street with no job,no car,no money. The counselor Therese was supposed to facilitate a higher level of care at Turning Point, but she said that she did not have time.????Her supervisor was absolutely clueless.Had to call the State of Michigan to report this place. They were very familiar with this place based on all the complaints. They do not live up to their mission statement.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNEDUCATED STAFF.Do not waste your time.I am sure they will lose the state license. HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE.
