These folks, from the front desk to management to mechanics and technicians, are an excellent team providing top-rated work and products. Their communication skills match their expertise in automotive repairs and service. We're new to Waterloo and family recommended Waterloo Automotive. So glad they did after first, second and third visits for two vehicles.
Most recently Waterloo Automotive replaced the back brakes on our 2017 Explorer. We have used them for previous maintenance needs and have always been met with professional, honest, and timely repairs. Josh and Brian always make sure that we are satisfied with the work that has been done. It is good to know that we have such a good repair shop right down the road for any “weird noises” that pop up!
We use Waterloo automotive for all our repairs on our vehicles for our business! They are amazing and not only take great care of our vehicles but they have great customer service! They make vehicle maintenance of our 6 company cars a breeze!
I took my vehicle in to have a missing weight from balancing replaced, Waterloo Automotive ran a diagnostic that I didn't order to charge 79.00. They did not replace the wheel weight or balance the tire. The mechanic I usually use doesn't have tire machines and had just done a full inspection of the car so the diagnostic was not needed. After a night of phone tag I was able to take the car back up there the next day and get the single tire balanced, which was the only reason it was there a day before. They refused any partial refund in person and over the phone and pocketed 79.00 for a 18.00 service that I had ordered. I feel that it's worth mentioning that I was not given a price quote until pick up and how hard their customer service pushed buying new tires. I stated at drop off that I was only there for the weight and I knew the tires were old. The shop also had the wrong mileage for my car and reported it to CARFAX as 100,000 miles too many.
