WaterOne is located in Lenexa, United States on 10747 Renner Blvd. WaterOne is rated 1.9 out of 5 in the category utilities in United States. WaterOne is an independent public water utility. We've been proudly serving the Johnson County, Kansas area since 1957. Every day, over 400,000 customers rely on WaterOne to provide fresh, clean water on demand. It’s a responsibility we deliver on. Our passion is water because water touches everything we care about: family, health, safety, and community. We serve our community by bringing award-winning water to their homes, businesses, and public places. Our History We’re a public utility by customers, for customers. WaterOne was born from our customers’ desire for great water, reliably. In 1957, unsatisfied with the value and service from their water provider, residents in the Mission area came together to buy out the Kansas City Suburban Water Company. They reincorporated as public water provider Water District No. 1 of Johnson County. Today, we go by WaterOne and we’ve grown to service most of Johnson County. We’re able to grow to meet the demand because we follow our Master Plan, a comprehensive road map for expansion and sustainability. We make continual investments in infrastructure at the right time so a plentiful supply of delicious water is available for our customers. And we’re thinking about the future, carefully managing the utility so that our services are here for the next generation. At WaterOne, we believe in the meaningful work of producing clean water because we’re making it for you.

Well, looks like I'm not the only one that has had some issues... I've tried for over 3 months to get my account credited because of a main line leak. Multiple emails and phone calls all confirming I would get my money back. But guess what? Still no money. I hope they at least adjusted my usage for sewer purposes, but I doubt that too. Guess I can send that bill to them. I've also noticed they have no replies to any of these reviews so seems like we are all wasting our time. They don't care. Waterone and done.

Original: 1 Star - Worst utility website I have ever used. Absolutely every aspect of it is atrocious. Now my account is locked and their website offers no way to contact Customer Support. Hire someone to design a website who knows what the hell they're doing. Update: 3 Star - Thank you for the response. I was able to call your Customer Support # and received assistance immediately to regain access to my account. I have updated my review to 3 Stars in light of the quick and easy Customer Support. However, your website is still atrocious.

This place is a mess. Had an issue with an ACH payment and have documentation from my bank that the problem is not the bank. Simone does not listen and is beyond RUDE, ended up hanging up due to her attitude. Reece is the only one there who seems to care to want to help anyone. IN RESPONSE TO KELLY - the call was 12/7/2020 and no, the issue is not resolved. I have called multiple times for the same issue and get different answers from different people.

they deliberately mail bills late to be able to add late charges to your account. They are unresponsive to complaints; deliberately act against the customer. This goes for JoCo too, since they are one and the same. They want you to fill out a survey - then wont let you continue and submit after you tell them the truth. Hmmm. Like a corporation who does whatever they want and no one will hold them accountable.

Unable to reach customer service for two days in an attempt to initiate service. Left a call back number three times, zero calls back. Submitted form online with zero confirmation. Finally reached a customer service agent and when she asked if we wanted to keep the online appointment (that we had no idea was happening because it was never even acknowledged as received) or have her start the account, we said we’ll go ahead and start the account with you...the call mysteriously dropped
