The British swim instructors are amazing and work great with the kids (I have 3 in the classes). They give instructional feedback right away and goals to work on from week to week. Great class sizes as well. Only complaint, I would have preferred a locker for the kids to shower and change their clothes in and not the small little changing tents that are offered.

We go to both locations Round Lake Beach and Waukegan so this review applies here as well! We started our daughter when she was 4 months old. She's now 9 months old and we still go. Jackie the instructor has done a great job of making myself, my daughter and wife all feel very comfortable with the water. Our daughter enjoys the water and overall swim class. Sean and the other instructors make sure classes start and end on time. We really enjoy the program!
My 6 year old daughter was terrified of water when she started taking classes back in May of 2018. She now loves to swim and can't wait for swim days! The British swim school staff are wonderful and very engaging and interactive with the children. I recommend this school for kids of all ages!
My two boys love going to class. They have both learned so much within a little time. Jackie is especially awesome with kids and her teaching technique is working. She teaches multiple levels of swimming and I can see the kids advancing. I love the British Swim School. They’re teaching my kids a life saving skill.
I was a bit hesitant because I did not know how to swim and have to know because of the military (navy reserves). Literally, within 2 days I know so much it is insane. The coaches/instructors are very knowledgeable. After the first day, I can honestly say I really enjoy and love swimming. The lessons are definitely well worth it.
